Thoughts about it in general?
I think for myself to order one, it would be a waste of money; I have no desire to print a plastic 3D do-dad in a hours worth of time.
I do think once the softwares become more user friendly and the machines become more sustainable to print bigger or even life sized things; Many industries could really utilize 3D printing.
I could see this being great for architecture; creating a detailed model of the building instead of a sketch or blue print.
I also think the automobile industry could utilize a life sized 3D printer to produce car prototypes; But thats defiantly jumping the gun on todays technology.

As of today, I wouldn't bother buying one personally

I think one is in my future to create embellishments and frames for my hand embroidery... and to help with furniture and detail work for my embroidered Opus... the dollhouse project.
