Just wanted to state that I bought a press from Mr. Foust. He told me it would not leak air. The press leaks from every single fitting, knob, cylinder....leaks from literally everywhere. He made a haphazard effort to fix it. He sent thousands in parts. Press is no where near not leaking after all that. Maybe some sales will go better than mine...but be cautious. after selling you the press he wants to sell you the parts to replace the press. Told me it was a used machine i should have expected it....when someone tells you "the press will not leak" you don't expect a press that literally needs everything related to air replaced. Facts are Facts.

You can't please everyone. We tried hard to make him happy, however the press is 19 years old and fixing air leaks is an ongoing process. This guy has another press and should be willing to provide the labor if I provide the parts (He should have the skill set). The warranty was, as are all of our warranties 90 day parts exchange, meaning we provide the parts you provide the labor to change them, and then return the defective parts to us.

I personally went to his plant in New England 2 days after he first complained, when I left the machine was 90% (one head had a bad Mac Valve) then I sent a technician in to repair the Mac Valve (this was on my dime and included in the warranty per the sales contract), when the technician left the press was 100%. Later the machine developed air leaks and we provided every part he ordered at no charge. Not a single part that he requested was denied during the warranty period.

A contributing factor to the air leaks is the machine was purchased and not installed for nearly 4 months (all winter), this can cause older airlines and rubber seals to become somewhat brittle and therefore leak.

I tried on many occasions to have him come and inspect the machine before he purchased, he said a video was enough to decide. The distance from this fellow was a 6 hour drive to Baltimore, I was told "he didn't have the time to come and inspect the machine in person".

I can provide a (in the words of Mr. Trump) Huge list of satisfied buyers. It's too bad sometimes people buy used and expect new.

Oh on another note I didn't promise anyone ever a 19 year old press wouldn't leak air. We do warranty any and all efforts to stop air leaks, however I am not sure it is possible to stop all air leaks on pneumatic machines of this age.

I was told "All air leaks would be taken care of"....now he says he never made that claim. Please see the emailed attachment from Bill and read his post above. This man is not trustworthy. Not a man of his word. That's the issue. You just can't trust what he tells you.
