Default $800 with shipping 32" vinyl cutter/plotter with extras

Me again, but with a different brand. I went slightly mad when contacted by a cutter manufacturer, and bought their machine to try it out. Well, they had a 3 machine minimum order, and so now I have 2 extras to sell.

This is a sturdier Chinese machine, with more controls and features than most. brand new in box, I only opened it to put in the USA power cords and extras like clipart cd's and vinyl.

1 new Golden Sign Plotters LGZ-950 X , a true 32" cutter with a 37" media capacity. This cutter comes with a metal floor stand, 3 Roland compatible carbide knife blades, 1 pen, a 2 CD set full version ArtCut 2005, a set of 3 CD Roms with over 14,000 clipart designs, 10' of 24" vinyl to help in setting it up and trying it, and all cables needed to operate.

A handy knob on the end opens the media pinch rollers so you don't have to reach around the back and unclamp each pinch roller seperately. And there's lots of control buttons, you can jog the vinyl forward and backwards, look at your project so far, then continue the cut where you left off!

Oh, yeah, the knife holder locks into a quickly opened and shut clamp that has a carefully molded slot to positively lock the blade holder in excactly the right place in seconds! No guessing where to tighten the set screw at! A big improvement over all the other chinese cutters I've used.

To get photos and specifications emailed to you, or to arrainge the puchase, please email me at [email address] . Or you could just pay me directly through paypal at [email address] and I'll ship it right out.

I prefer paypal, but will accept checks and money orders. I'll just ship after they clear the bank. There have been a lot of certified checks and money orders being forged lately, so I have to be careful.

Cutting speed: 800mm/s
Cutting Force: 500g (That's enough to cut the toughest sandblast!)
Knife: Roland compatible carbide blades (Comes with 3.)
MAX cutting thickness: 1mm
Drive system: Friction Feed Rollers uses either perforated or non-perforated media
Commands set: DM-PL
Power: 110V(±)10% 60Hz
Resolution: 0.025mm (distance traveled in the smallest "step" of the stepper motor.)
Motor: digital DC motor (subsection) stepper motor
Memory: 2 Mb of Ram (4 Mb max)
Software: Comes with Full version of Artcut 2005. A translated chinese program, but pretty good.

With factory support and 1 year factory warrenty.

And spare parts like blades and cutting strips are very cheap straight from the manufacturer.

Since they didn't sell for so long, I traded these really nice but unknown brand cutters to a Duluth Sign Supply for the brand I started out with (Master xy-380p). I didn't like the price they offered to buy such nice machines for, but the offer of a straight up trade of two for two was ok. At least the software is better than what I started out with, and with a known brand there's a better chance of a sale. These have SignGo Pro software, not flexi-starter, so it's a full featured sign making version with vectorization or tracing built in.

These cutters have some of the fastest cutting speeds on the market, but when you choose a cutter, don't be impressed by how fast the machine works. Because the faster you cut with it, the more jagged the edges will be. Yes, with the servo motors used to drive the 2 axis in fancy $3,000.00 models it doesn't matter, but in the stepper motors used in the under $1,500.00 models, even the fastest setting of the slowest machine is too fast to make a clean cut. The cutting pressure is more important, especially if you want to cut thicker vinyls, like sandblasting stencil resist. If you just want to cut plain old vinyl and paint or acid etching stencils, every modern cutter has enough down pressure. Floor stands are also very useful in anything over 24", and is still nice on any other size.

I've been playing around with and comparing lots of different hardware/software combinations for a year, and the master is a simple to use, versatile machine. Not as fancy as the goldensign cutter I'm using now, but the signgo software is much better than the artcut. OK, the artcut was pretty nice, and has as many features as signgo pro, but only works with metric measurements, and I must admit that it's nice not to have to keep looking at a conversion chart all the time.

There's full details on the machine i have for sale, and a package I put together that should do well for anyone starting up, including a 2 DVD tutorial of makiing and applying vinyl signs and decals on www.foxesfarm.com .

32" cutter with metal floor stand and Signgo Pro $800 with shipping, www.signgo.com (This Pro version costs $399 just by itself.) Needs a serial or parallel port and a usb port for this combination of hardware and software. It comes with a serial cable, but if you need to, it will work with any parrallel cable you provide. Do not attempt to use a USB to serial port adapter, as they are the source of most reports people report of the machines going mad and making diagonal cuts through the middle of their projects. I had that trouble for about 3 months, then bought a used desktop that had a serial port and it virtually stopped.

1- Set Vector Clipart & common sayings, over 4,500 images - 2 CD set Original, not a copy.

1- CD with over 8,000 royalty free images and Inkscape vectorization program. Not absolutely necessary with the profesional SignGo pro software in this cutter's package, but it is an early type, that makes you choose how sensitive you want the outlining to be. This can be handy to "tweak" the final product, unlike the automatic tracing or vectorization programs for sale today. The automatics like in SignGo are faster and easier, but every once in a while I use Inkscape for tricky things like photographs.

1- 2 dvd set sign making tutorial It's british, so some of the terms are different, but the video is still quite useful

1- 24 inch by 20 feet roll of gloss black vinyl

1- 24 inch by 20 feet roll of gloss red vinyl

1- 24 inch by 20 feet roll of gloss yellow vinyl

1- 24 inch by 20 feet roll of gloss orange vinyl

1- 24 inch by 20 feet roll of gloss white vinyl

1- 24 inch by 20 feet roll of gloss blue vinyl

1- 24 inch by 20 feet roll of chrome diamond plate vinyl

1- 24 inch by 20 feet roll of bright brass engine turned vinyl

These 20 foot rolls are really 20-30 feet long. I reeled off (2) 60 foot rolls from a master 150 foot roll, and I always give at least a foot extra, so there's still more than 20 feet on these rolls I'm selling now. (It's expensive to drive all the way down to the twin cities every time we need vinyl, and shipping is expensive, too. So several of us club together on ordering bulk supplies. I go get them in my van, divide the rolls and supplies between us, and the 20-30 feet off each roll is mine to keep after I give each of them 60 feet.)

1- pdf version and printed document tutorial on vinyl application.
1- Squeegee for installing the vinyl letters, see the above document for how to use it.
1- Quart bottle of RapidTac application fluid.
1- 24 inch by 300 foot roll of transfer tape.

If you're not in the USA, let me know what city/country to ship it to, and I'll give you an international shipping estimate.

Paypal ahead of time or cash only with pickup or delivery. For a shipped package, PayPal, checks, or money orders are fine, I'll just wait until payment clears before shipping. Credit cards accepted through paypal. www.paypal.com

If you're local, I can assemble it, give 5 hours of training, and you get a computer with all software installed for $2.000.00. Local means you pick it up, or I'll deliver it within 200 miles of Duluth, MN. 55810. If I deliver it, the time setting it up in your home or business counts as part of the 5 hours of training. Don't worry, as I'd have it assembled and the software installed already, so setting it up won't take long. I need a day's notice if you're picking it up, as they are still in the boxes, and delivery may take 1-2 weeks to co-ordinate our schedules. I can only deliver on Fri, Sat, and Sun, as my office is open Mon-Thur. Just don't ask me to show you how to install it on vehicles, 'cause I'm no good at that.
