Question To all Custom Embroidery Designers

Tired of the limitations of wanting to create more in my sewing!! Want to add custom embroidery to my work (person and for friends). I don't want any limitations in the designs I use and need to be able to create my own designs.
What is the BEST machine option for creating completely custom embroidery designs, either starting with an adaptable pattern or completely from scratch.....??
Thanks so much!!!!!

It isn't the machine, its the software. Pricing runs the gamut. Many consider Wilcom to be the best with Pulse a close second. Choose a software brand that you can get training for and one that offers phone/email support. I don't know about Wilcom but Pulse has an email group where members ask questions. Also, ISS shows offer good classes. Familarity with an artwork program such as Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator will also help you create original artwork to transform into digitized embroidery files.

I admit software is important. Welcom is the best
But the person who use the software is crucial, too.
You need good digitizer to make your custom design SHINES!
Believe me. When it shines, it shines like a star when you find the right person.
