Re: american champrint?
the american champrint was an all air machine, probably americans 2nd/3rd generation air machine. it had one very unique feature called the flex-head where print head #2 slides back and forth as needed from pos 2 to pos 3, also print head #7 from pos #6 to pos #7. i believe i have a manual and schematic if more specific info is needed. most selonoids and sensors can be sourced out. it was plc controlled no proprietary electronics other than say the programming. i would not look to it this day and age for high production as with any machine this age ( people too ) just don't move as fast they use to and require a visit from a mechanic a little more often. if this is your first auto, and can wrench and understand basic control wiring it would probably be alot of fun and challenging.
