I am looking at a Singer Futura CE250. It is on sale for $800.00 Cndn. It comes with Autopunch software. Basically, I want to put logos on my horse blankets, saddle towels, t-shirts, jackets etc. for myself and as gifts for my horsey friends. I have created my own logos. They are very simple and generally 1, maybe 2 colors. I'm not really into all the "cutesy" embroidery although who knows I may change my mind as I did see some great dog patterns. My question is .... Is this an appropriate machine for what I want to do? Is it a decent quality machine? The reviews I've read seem pretty good but I need to hear from some of you out there. Also, can I use other software with it or just programs made specifically for that make and model? I am particularly interested in extra fonts. Many thanks.
