Question Anyone familiar with Brown Mfg. Pony & Air Pony Dryers

Is anyone familiar with Brown Manufacturing conveyor dryers? I'm looking at their smaller dryers the Pony and Air Pony dryers. I'm looking at the 2475 air pony model which comes with forced air and powered exhaust. I've only been doing plastisol inks at the moment, but this would be perfect for when I do decide to get into discharge or water based inks. I'm just not familiar with Brown Manufacturing.
Anyone with experience using Brown dryers can you give me your pros and cons or can anyone recommend me a dryer in the 3,000.00 range. Thanks.

P.S. I've been also looking at getting the EconCure 6100 from BBC which is priced similarly to the Brown dryer, but does not have forced air.

Thanks

Actually this would not be "perfect" for WB/Discharge. Perfect would be a gas model with ten to 12 ft of heat. Not saying the Pony won't work but I'll bet a nickel they will have to go through twice and if your manually printing WB by yourself you'll be running in circles and may have ink drying in the screen while doing so.
So if thats where you're headed get someone to help at the back of the dryer.
Your results may, of course, vary.
best tp

Thanks for the reply. This is the type of info I was trying to get. I'm a small shop starting out and have been looking for a good small dryer. Do you have recommendations in the 3,000.00 dollar range or less for a good compact dryer?

Sorry not much help on that. I really have zero experience on the small dryers and I'm sure theres been some improvements there. I'll let others chime in on that. That said a good used dryer from a reputable company is an excellent consideration. Theres really not that much to them and they can be pretty easy to work on if/when necessary. Of course power source and exhaust venting are primary factors.

Thanks for the help. I'm going to do some more research, that way I don't regret buying something that i'll hate.
