I have CorelDraw 11. I have never been able to figure out the function of the layer “color” setting in the Object Manager. I’m talking about the color square immediately to the left of the layer name. I thought it controlled the default outline color for the pen (based on the light gray that is the default for the grid and guideline layers) but changing it doesn’t have the expected effect. The online help and user manual do not talk about it (in fact there are quite a few subfunctions that have escaped documentation).
Anyone know what this feature does and how to use it?
