Smell on final product removal?

Got another question. I’ve noticed on certain products, after engraving, they retain a bit of a smell to them - certain types of wood; especially after a 3d engraving retain a burned smell and acrylic if a large area of the acrylic is engraved it retains that
wonderful melted/burned acrylic smell.

Wood and plastic, particularly acrylic really smell bad when they come out of the machine. I’ve tried washing the plastic with dish washing liquid, but it doesn’t do much good. The best thing I’ve found is to just let it sit for a couple of days. Much of the odor
will just dissipate on its own. If you can put your customer off for 48 hours, the wait is generally worthwhile.

I use a citrus base cleaner, orange fresh.
