Used wood screens with gunk

Recently, I gotten several dozens of used wood screens practically for free from an in-law who has since moved overseas. I also got his equipment - manual press, plastisol inks, inkjet printer, basically what you need to start - at a cheap price too. So now I think I need remove gunk that I noticed has built up in the mesh - he doesn’t seem keep things very clean! I have an idea from the notes of my in-law, but I want to make sure to prevent wrecking the screens. What do I need to do accomplish this?

Did you also get a pressure washer with the deal? An overview of what you need to do is degrease the screen and apply emulsion remover and then pressure wash.
