But anyways, what type of tape do I need to buy for screens? Currently, I am using packaging type tapes which works well, but when it’s time to reclaim screens the tape comes off in pieces so it’s a pain and sometimes it evens ruins the mesh. 2 replies below to: What type of tape to use for screens? I use Polyken tape or PMI tape. Your ordinary masking tape is okay too. You can also try R-Tape which I use in sign making, but works great for screen printing also.
