Atlas 824 Conveyor Dryer For Sale

Priced to sell at 1500.00 obo. Price reduced to 1200.00!!!

I have an older atlas 824 Conveyor Dryer that works great and is still in production until Thursday 5/15. Both heat panels are functioning properly and conveyor motor has been replaced about 3 months ago. This is a single phase 220v with air circulation.

We are upgrading to a larger dryer this week.

Couple questions. Do you still haven't and can it be disassembled (ie) remove legs and such. Thanks,

I have the same one and I'm basement based with a limited access.
I had to take it apart too. Legs come off, the top can be removed and I had to cut off the inside frame that holds the top and the heating panels together.
After it was taken down, it was not a problem to put it back together.

I bought mine used, it is about 18 years old (I think) and it is still kicks as$ every time I turn it on. Only thing I had to replace is one of the heating panels, I bought the new one from BBC and replaced it myself.

$1200 is good price.

Only thing that I would suggest, install the switch that controls the heaters so you can switch them off independently from the main switch.
Right now, you have to turn the heat all the way down and then wait for panels to cool down before shutting down the main power.
With the switch, you still have to wait, but at least next time you do not have to re-set the temperature again, just turn it on and you are good to go.

$1200 is good price.

I can not remove the heat chamber from mine..it is not designed to be removed...the later models have hinges on them....i have the exact one in the pic.

I do not let mine cool down before shutting off the main breaker on the dryer.
