PRESS OPERATOR JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to operate our Automatic and Manuel presses according to the demand of incoming jobs. The person in this position is responsible for printing large and small t-shirt runs in a timely manner.


Duties and Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of this job include but are not limited to the following.

Primary Responsibilities
• Operate Automatic and Manuel presses
• Maintain fast turn around times on jobs throughout the day.
• Load/Off load T-shirts onto and off of the press.
• Set up single or multiple color jobs according to paperwork.
• Keep close attention to impressions on garments in order to maintain high quality control standards.
• Learn stock ink colors and mixing techniques.
• Be involved in pre-press preparation.
• Maintain a clean working environment
