Default Backing Material Which One

Can someone tell which type of backing material would be best to use on 100% cotton t-shirts? Cut away or tear/wash away

thanks for input

You would typically use cutaway on any shirt ... there are exceptions of course for heavier gauge twill jackets, but generally it would be cutaway ... if you are embroidering on T's make sure you use a soft cut away, and something on the heavier gauge.
