DESCRIPTION:
Features include an arm/flat table, 2 heads, "UF" 5 needle, single take-up lever sewing head, and a drop-leaf table. This machine does not have auto thread trimmers, but it does have automatic thread break detection and backup.
The Barudan SMT Keyboard broke years ago, so the machine now uses Compucon EOS V3.0 Embroidery Operating System Software running on a PC. The software is used to design the lettering and run the sewing machine. The machine doesnt have a floppy reader built into it, so we also used the attached PC to read floppies. A working PC and monitor are included free with the sewing machine, if desired.

It was made in 1986 or 1987, but still runs great. I purchased the machine from the original owner in 2001, and it's been in my family business since then. It's also been professionally maintained throughout its life thus far.

If you have a dock-high truck of your own, or can rent one, loading will be very easy. Picking it up yourself also allows you to see it in person before purchase and skip on the crating and shipping costs. We can tie it down and make sure it doesn't move in the back of the truck and then you could just roll or have it lifted off the truck when back in your town.
Professional crating and shipping is an option, but I will have to do additional research before I can reliably estimate costs. A broad range is between $500 and $1500.
I also have a 12 head, 5 color machine that if purchased with the 2 head, could make the trip to Des Moines even more worthwhile. The 2 and 12 head machines worked well in our shop together. More info at
