I'm trying to figure out some things in the software and I can't for the life of me find any videos or articles that can help provide the information I need.

I'm desperate!

Does anyone here use this software that could answer a question about text for me? I'm creating the file attached. The customer wants the text with a "shadow" of the turquoise behind the black lettering. I did this by copying and pasting the black text, changing the color to turquoise and shifting the position. However, when I stitch this out, it is going to be bulky due to 2 sets of full font one on top of the other.

I tried to find a font that had this look, no go. Does anyone have any suggestions or anything that can help me?

There is no file attached, but the following may help.
Break your shadow text apart - as far as it can go. It has now become objects, not a text/font. Then select the top text/font and "remove overlaps" by the amount that you prefer. This will chop the shadow objects into many, many more pieces. Now you should isolate the shadow pieces and and re-order them (and their start and end points) for better embroidery.
