Brother technician in MD?

I am a newbie who just bought a used Brother single head 12 needles seeking a tech or someone with a little more knowledge to tuneup my machine before I hit the red button. The seller tested it and it did fine except for the trimmer that wasn't cutting the thread once in a while and the needle not being picked up at the start of the color change. The machine wasn't in use for some time and looks very good for the price except for these 2 "minor" issues.

I have a network of technicians that are certified on various embroidery machines. I can contact my technician who covers the DC, MD, VA area and have him respond to you. The technician is a certified Brother technician and in fact is one of the most respected Brother techs I know. He worked for Brother International for about 5 years and I would trust him with my machine anyday.
