Default Buying

I have a friend retiring from his sign shop he has run for at least 15 years.
he is including computers 2 ploters and 2 hp design jets that has not been tested with ink. he just bought them but they came without ink cartage. They power on but thats all he know about them.

Comes with all software and all customer signs saved, business name, phone book add.

he is asking 15,000.00 for all

Not sure what I'm asking but would like imput for somone thinking about starting out. this would be ran as a second business. I'm a contractor and still run my business

Default Re: Buying

I would vote for keeping your money and start a new shop from scratch if that is what you are wanting to do. A shop that has been around for 15 years and is still only worth 15k does not sound like a successful venture, a new name and face might quickly surpass that business in a few months.
