Default Buying Used Equipment

State/Province: Outside the U.S./Canada
City: Nashville
Hey there. I purchased equipment from Donnie Blackwell and Mark Alves in June of 2016. And long story short and a couple of court dates later, I am still out over $10,000. Of course, this is considered pennies compared to some of the stories I have read on here. So question from me is....

Mark Alves
Donnie Blackwell
Don Fenno
Justin Fisher
and the names can keep going....

Who are these people and are they all part of the same "company" or working individually?

Just curious.

Sorry you have had some bad luck!
Steve Vermillion passed away a month ago. A great guy.
I would like you to post your name as well as your contact info,
As well as the case #, docket, and where the court dates took place.
I would like this done publicly not private message, so that your
Story can be verified, and maybe some help can come your way.
All the best,
Winston Strickland

Poster contacted me through private message, that the Late Steve Vermillion
Was not connected to any transaction concerning poster. Steves good name
Was caught up with an internet search so the poster posted without due dilligance
The same way he got caught up with some smuchs in the first place. Poster would also
Not release court info per his lawyer. My suggestion is if you have a problem then
By all means take the basstards to court and proscecute to the fullest! A public appology
To the late Steve Vermillion is in order.

That's correct. I contacted privately. I do intend to continue pursuing legal action to the absolute fullest against Mark Alves and Donnie Blackwell. All other names associated were just immediate connections. I am in no way concerned with those other names outside of Mark and Donnie, unless they were part of their tech team.

The best advice I have, along with others, is to always do your research on equipment purchases. Review it. And feel 100% good about making a move. Hopefully there are good people out there as well.

I feel sorry for this guy.
The dynamic duo that he is talking about struck again.
I hope he gets some resolve. It really hurts the industry.
Hopefully the poster does well in spite of these two clowns!
Winston

AEJ Screenprinting/Justin Fisher. Also if you google AEJ Screenprinting, you get some interesting stuff. Even using his son-in-law as an alias. Somehow Donnie is associated or was associated with this this guy and that company.

I am posting this to see if anyone on here can verify any of this information.
Thank you in advance.

Steve was a good guy, Vietnam Vet and hard worker. Sorry to hear of his passing.

You are doing a great job of connecting the dots on these guys. Nothing that is posted is counter to what I have heard. I wish you luck and think if everyone that has a story about interacting with these folks would chime in here, it may help stop some of these deals in the future.

I personally knew Steve Vermillion. I did various business with him and everything always ran smoothly, but be careful with Craig from ZSP. His cell is 1(305)554-4825. I bought equipment from him with a value of 60k and I never received anything. My condolences to the Vermillion family.

Confirm from myself - Steve Vermillion was a good guy in our business. I purchased Jumbo Challenger II OS through him smoothly, no any games and had support from him with loading to container, couple days worked with him together - good professional and as person - RIP Steve Vermillion! Thank you!

Craig is crook, I am agree, 12 years ago he sold me rusty retrofit kit for Vitran dryer (UV lamps were broken, just 2 hoods and blowers) for $6500 instead of used, good working condition Vitran II, 60" wide, double lamps WITH conveyor - no money back!

Mark Alves - I had just one deal 1 year ago - not very smooth, but I protected myself from payment to him directly, slick impression.

Don Fenno - sold me absolutely dead Sportsman E 12 colors press in 2014, from Texas. When we made a deal he told me "press absolutely as new, remanufacturing like new condition, no any issue"! Leakage from gear box on the servo motor, PLC errors and tons of inside problems, no any grease on the press at all and tons of glitters/inks residue anywhere - is like new! I paid 20K as part prepayment before I visited Texas facility with disassembled dead press. No money back! I bough dead garbage press for 20K! A lot of investments were made after to raise up a press till working condition.

Another sleepery broker is Jason Rodrigues. 10 years ago sold me 29 roller frames but I received just 26! Rest disappeared with no money back.

And we remember Alan Singer...

If you need to know a real good broker names I know a couple from my experience. Bill Foust, David McLain, Tonny Pernicello - RESPECT to this guys! Highly recommended to all!

Just received a call from Tim Delahanty and he has no connection to Mark Alves. Mark just found some equipment for him and delivered it to his company.

Thank you guys so much for helping me confirm things.

Mark Alves and Donnie Blackwell are still crooks.
