Can not get software to load HELP PLEASE

I purchased a SWF single head and it came with Sierra Embroidery Office Software. But when I put in CD nothing happens. I tried downloading by going to start key and then run, but still nothing happens.
Could it be because I have windows xp and this is older software?

Have you called Customer Service??

It might very well be your XP...
Until recently I was working with an acient machine and I had to have Windows 98!!
