I just recently got this software and now my local babylock dealer tells me that it is useless and I must get master works. Is this true? I know very little about any of this and need any advice you can give me. schuttfamily@verizon.net

Hmmm, whether to use your Corel Drawings or go for the MasterWorks software. First of all, look at the way the people were falling all over themselves to buy your Corel Drawings. That's your first clue! I'm of the opinion that Drawings will do everything you need. I have had each one demo'd for me and I like them both. MasterWorks is very easy, logical and powerful, but the same can be said for Corel.
Go back to your dealer and ask them to give you a MasterWorks Demo before you make a move. I did, and I was impressed. Just make sure you are familiar with what Corel can do before you sell it. That's a smokin' program! |

I would ask why I couldn't use Drawings first and see if there is a compatability problem (I don't think there should be). Reguardless of what they say I'd contact Corel's support and make sure they say it will work. You may have a Babylock rep trying to sell you something else so he can make money. Let us know how this works out.

I tried the masterworks and it was good, better IMO, than pe design, however I ended up using embird, and bought the plug ins I needed and I must say that it gives me the best results.
