Angry Dave Mendez and the case of my missing money

I purchased (what I was told) was a complete Tri-Loc system a while back. The money was wanted upfront and was paid. All items (minus the importan stop block) was sent. Inquired about the stop block - said multiple emails "it would be there next week" - never shipped, never contacted.

Needed to stop-block for jobs so it was purchased through M&R for $125 - contacted Dave about getting reimbursed for at least half of the cost since his inability to now 'find the original stopblock since it was apparently shipped with another machine' - but fails to reply to emails or texts now.

Still got all his money upfront and immediate (good for him)
Caused me to delay multiple print jobs and still doesn't reply to email (bad for me).

It's not a matter of the money at this point, it's a matter of business. You get paid, you produce or you make amends to promote fair business.

Dave still has my home address, email address, phone #, ID on DigitSmith and yet none are being used.

Is $60 worth the 'buyer beware' label... you be the judge.

This sounds familiar. Another broker used to be real good about answering the phone and replying before the sale of equipment, but then after the sale, you can't get ahold of them. Keep us updated please. I'm tired of this happening around here, and it's likely the same person that did you wrong that did others wrong here recently under a different name.

stop block is nice and I use it everyday, but its not necessary. I used the triloc for years before there ever was a stop block.

It's not Jason but there are some similarities for sure.

I am and have been in Mexico,
I am not ignoring you danger! When I return next Saturday we will talk. As for the block, I told you I would get it off the gauntlet I sold. You told me that you went ahead and purchased another one from M&R and THAT was your choice. YOU proposed to me that I pay you back half of what the new one cost you at $60. I never agreed to do this but did think it was fair. When I get back to Philly I'll get with you on this and we'll be good. (RIGHT)! It was a mistake on the guys taking the press down and an honest one. I was not trying to cheat you on a stop block. Everyone I've sold to has received what they purchased. I havn't sold a ton on this site but everyone has paid and received their equipment.

I appreciate everyone's business and am grateful. And to those of you who think that I'm Jason Rodriguez let me tell you one more time. I AM NOT JASON!!!

Thank you Dave

I am not J-Rod either, lets clear that. We do both live in GA, but I am not him.

Thanks for straightening up the matter guys.
Honestly, I don't think Jason Rodriguez wants to be Jason Rodriguez anymore.
I hope he is taking better care of his business now.
