Default Decisions....decisions

Hello All, I have been doing embroidery with a home machine and have now just got too busy for that. I had looked into the brother/babylock 10 needle but now am considering a commercial machine. Do you have any recommendations on brands? What are features I am looking for that I might not know to check on at this point? Service? functionality?

I am trying to get as educated as possible to make an informed purchase.

I have someone with a 1998 Melco EMT 10 and Amaya XL 16 needle that they are selling together, what would they be worth if they are in good working order. Comes with Design Pro software.

Thank you for any info that you can share.

Have a blessed day,

Sharon

Sharon, When I started my business I asked and joined forums and the Tajima machines were really recommended. I bought one in 2009. It is a single head, 15needle. I am thinking of selling it if you would like more info. Thanks, Melissa

We have been commercial embroiderers since 1995 and since 1998 it has been Barudan and Barudan only for us. Tajimas are very similar. But our 1998 machine has been annually maintained (by us) oiled daily and it is still putting out lots of pieces for us, although it is getting a little tired.
