Smile different colors for bobbins

does anyone know where , if possible, I could buy some bobbins in colors other than black or white? Or could I just wind a bobbin with regular top thread, or possibly buy the bobbins from a sewing store that sells color bobbins for home sewing machines?

Yes, you can use your upper thread for bobbin thread. All you need is some way to wind your bobbins. You will not get as many yards on your wound bobbins as come on pre-wound and you will also have to work on your tensions for successful embroidery.

www.marathonthread.com

www.allstitch.net

Try marathon first, not sure about allstich, marathon is usually cheaper anyway.
