Re: Digitizing software to Start up
Hi eltri,
I’m a newbie so I chose the bargin that was available to me at a shop that I trusted for education, and support. The change of the model year, stock markdowns and factory reconditioned machines looked attractive to me because of the expenses involved. Quite frankly the most important thing is support. Factory, shop, personal experience, repair availability, distance from the resources for correction of something dumb I’ve done (that never happens) because of time constraint and the price of gas. There is no same correct answer for everyone because it’s so much more efficient to be able to blame someone close like your self rather than someone with strong opinion that’s only correct to them selves. In a word Brother single head. And that is because of all the reasons I’ve described and the real kicker a full trade-up promise for a year. Until I’m confident with my penetration into the niche market that I think I can serve I’m as tight as the bark on a tree. Boy after seeing the length of this epistle to just answer a simple question like what machine do you have I’d hate to be involved in a difficult one. Study your market that will generate the revenue you think you need. I mean really study your ability to provide worth that someone will be willing to pay you for. Not the fantasy we all feel about the manipulating threads that people will go wow over. That doesn’t pay the rent, lights or the lease agreements. Be critical of your self what special skill can you bring to the market place NOW. And what special feature can you develop, what marketing angle can you employ that addresses the real need of the public that are willing to pay. That’s the name of the game Isn’t it?
Good planning.
Dennis
