Tajima has Pulse Microsystems write and develop their vector based embroidery software. As most others there are several levels that are available to the consumer. Attached is a link to Pulse Micro.

The US agent for Tajima of Japan is Hirsch International. Hirsch bought Pulse a few years ago, so obviously recommend Pulse when they sell a Tajima machine (so their advice on software is not independent). Wilcom is Australian and is arguably the world leading software. Pulse uses vectors so if you are good with them then that might suit you.
