Default Dongle

I purchased some used equipment and software from a company and received it. However, all the software require a dongle and I did not receive any of those. Does anyone know where I can buy those? I need Corel Draw for Embroidery and Smart Cut Pro. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Okay, I guess it is funny. When you stop laughing, do you know where I can buy a dongle? My software is useless without it. I would really appreciate any assistance. Thanks.

Tina,

It is unfortunate that you did not get the security keys/dongles from who you obtained the software from.

The absolute first thing that you need to do is to get back with the party you got the software from and demand the security keys or the return of your money. If they do not satisfy these demands then you need to file a claim in small claims court immediately.

Software companies in the industry use the dongles to prevent piracy of their software and are not forgiving of those that loose one or state that they didn't get one from the party that they purchased the software from. Too many people will find an illegal source for their software and then pawn their legit software off on someone else to make up their expense. For this reason the companies will not replace a security key without the purchase of the software at full value. You can attempt but truly your chances are better with the seller and small claims court.

Also be sure that your software is a full version and not a Student/Educational Version. These versions EULA RESTRICT use to "Personal and NON COMMERCIAL USE ONLY".

I am sorry that you have gotten into this situation but it happens to many newcomers into the business. Always remember to buy legitimate software for your use.

Best Wishes and Hope all Goes Well.

Some people on this forum appear to have no compassion and love to interject their banter into meager triads that only confuse those new in the industry and put a bad spin on their attempt to find some assistance. RWB please show a bit of compassion in the future, it would go a long way. Thanks and Have a Great Day!
