Does anyone use Embird Software for digitizing, etc.? Would like to know what the learning curve is like.

Yep, I use it most of the time. ALL digitizing has a learning curve and we all learn at different speeds. For me, it was much easier than wilcom. You won't learn digitizing overnight, but unless you are digitizing 8 hours a day, embird will work just fine for you.

For the amount of work that I have now this software seemed to be the best solution.

Hi Embird users,
I would like to know if embird is good enough to delivery good jobs. I have heard Wilcom is the best but at the same time i have the idea that for average complexity of the logo'shape embird is sufficient. I think wilcom is more for Art works but for daily simple logos and the name of empoyees on an uniform or name of the company embird will be fine. I appreciate your comments. Thank you very much.

I have used Wilcom and Embird both (others, as well--I seem to be a software junkie) and now use Embird almost exclusively. For me, it's fast and easy to use and I get great (for me, anyway) sewouts. I can recommend the tutorials from Carolyn Keber (at Secretsof.com)--pricey, but for me well worth the $$ (I don't have the patience to poke around for weeks on end to find all the nifty little tips and tricks, I want to know 'em all at once). Embrird works ok there are some better programs out there but if your new to digitizing and embroidery use the embird as it has the easiest learning curve.
