Embroiderers who haven't paid their digitizers

Best way is to show them digital picture and ask them to pay... After payment let them download file. Credit only for regular customers.

so today a client who has several invoices past due tries to place an order.. we advise them that they have some late invoices but if they offer to pay those by cc then we will gladly digitize the new file within a matter of hours and then charge it to the cc as well. effectively converting them from terms to cc. They agree... after trying 3 different cards ALL of them were declined.... How are they in business as a promotional products distributor??? really?

Ask them to pay onto paypal and use the credit card to pay you for the old designs first and at the same time you are processing their new order.
But dont process the new order until you get paid first.
If they dont pay, you most likely got conned.
If they pay then go ahead and do the new design and send them the pdf requesting them to provide the cc details they used to pay you.

This customer placed an order on 28th March.
The design was sent back to him on 29th march.
There was no note on the order that it was urgent.

Client just called me right now and said he never received the design and had to get it punched inhouse since it was urgent.

I asked him why he never called us to ask about the design or why didn't he mention on the order that it was urgent. His reply was Im just asking if you are willing to give a refund because we never used your design.

I said unfortunately we cant.

And then he started his crap that its only $15.00. I said yeah it is. He said just for $15.00 you have lost out on all my business. I said Im not here to do freebies and cut him off.

Perhaps I should go buy a car and give it back after a week and get a refund

I cant believe this guy had the guts to call me after a week and ask for a refund....lol cant believe how many stingy freaks there are out there....

I could have asked him to email me over his dst file but Im sure he would have managed to make something crappy within 30mins to show me.

This guy will be looking for a digitizer now so be careful.

I believe sharing bad customer experiences is more of a benefit to all of us than keeping it private.

There are many digitizers on this forum yet none have come forward with their bad experiences.
