Default Embroidery Machine advice sought

I want start a home business to embroider names on school uniforms and (later, after gaining experience) logos and badges. Can anyone please advise me which inexpensive machine I can buy for a start?

It would help if you can specify how many pieces you plan on embroidering on a regular basis.

About 500-1000 pieces per day. An average of 15 letters per piece.
