Job summary

The Embroidery Machine operator is responsible for the production of embroidered textiles. This person must be able to work with single and multiple head MELCO embroidery machines. You would be responsible for following written orders regarding placement, thread color, size of embroidery, etc. You would need to consider garment type to determine machine speed and be able to select the proper backing for the garments. You would work independently; however, you would be expected to address questions with the owners prior to sewing. This person would also be responsible for saving the digitized files, routinely backing up the computer, and keeping the work area clean.

Minimum requirements
• High School education or equivalent
• Previous embroidery experience is a must

• Very strong work ethic with a particular attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
• Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate with co-workers.
• A strong appreciation and dedication towards improving and maintaining quality
• A positive and energetic attitude geared towards success and knowledge
