Just chiming in to say that this is an outstanding film printer.

I upgraded from a Stylus Pro 9800 to a SureColor T7270 recently (same model as the OP just the bigger 44" version).

Paired with a good RIP the 9800 made excellent films, but when printing fine halftones at 1440x1440, it was dreadfully slow. Printing a dozen 42" x 25" films would take most of the night.

The T7270 is indistinguishable in quality but it is screaming fast. At least 6x faster, probably more. That's mainly what I was looking for and couldn't be happier.

The cutter is much better too (rotary instead of knife style) and also crazy fast and it doesn't create slivers of film dust like the 9800's would after a short time.

The fact that is has just 5 carts and they hold 700mL is a big bonus. Nervously I voided my warranty right off the bat and filled all carts with dye black right off the bat.

YMMV but it's been great for the 500' of film we've printed in the last couple months. Perfect nozzle checks or just one or two missing dashes which clear up on the first cleaning.

Any way I have no dubious interest in helping the seller but I wanted to share my experience because it's a decision I agonized over ("don't fix what ain't broken") but if you're like me and can benefit from printing high quality films very fast, it's a no brainer.

I would love to have this just to step up from my Hp LaserJet but my budget is around $500. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks
