Default Error message #300

Hi everyone,
I am new to embroidery. I just bought a machine from SWF T1501C. I am having a difficult time getting it to sew. I keep getting this error message 300; (Needle position signal does not vary). Can someone help me with this? I went to the 2 day training for the machine but I really don't think that was enough to get me started. I would really appreciate some help here. I just want to get some stitches done for the first time. I have had the machine about a week now and I haven't been able to do anything with it. I have been trying to read through the book but its not sinking in. I am more of a hands on or if you can talk me through it, I can get it done.

thanks,
Juan

Hi there... we are neighbors practically! To remove an error 300 press any number on the keypad like you were changing needles..... so if your machine is stuck between needle one and needle 2 ... just press number 5 for example and in a few seconds the machine should self adjust.
