extra thread after sew out

i am working on american flag patches and everything sews out great till it gers to the stars. little pieces of thread are being left sticking up. does anyone know whats causing this and how to fix it.

Is this after it trims from one star to the next or where is it happening? Maybe attach a picturemofmit so we can take a look?

its kinda random. its not happening after every star and a few patches came out clean.

Being stars their is a good chance your stitch lengths are to short and trying to pack to many stitches in to a small area. Check your stitch lengths and zoom in and make sure you are not trying to place a penetration to another penetration.

hi, a jpg image of what you are getting would instantly allow great feedback as to the issue I bet. "little pieces of thread are being left sticking up" doesn't really say much in our world. sorry.
