does anyone have experience with turret head barudans??? i only have flat heads

are they any good. or harder to operate

Sewing on caps was always harder.. we had to watch what needles we used otherwise the turning of the "turret" could rip off the brim from the crown or at the very least distort the cap so that the embroidery was messed up. But for flat goods they sewed just fine.

Congratulations! You have the flat head!
They are way better than turret head machines.

I used to have a turret head barudan machine.
Oh! what a nightmare it was when I do caps.
The cap frames moved out of position every time the heads turn and change colors.
You can imagine what disaster it is if the logo has a lot of details and outlines.
You are lucky to invest on a flat-head.

Woah ... a Turret head, that takes me back, used to have one. Got rid of it in 2000. Not a bad machine, but a total nightmare for caps!!!

Yep I agree the turret heads for embroidery are hard to use on caps. might as well sew it by hand LOL
