www.parmelesupply.com click on the store for the dropdown list. We can also help you out to get the highest density due to that OEM Epson ink will only record a 1.8 density we have a hybrid pigment ink that will get you to 2.7 making burning an ease. Want to learn more give us a call.

Yes you can get 4, problem with that is your going to have to push the limits and you wont be able to linearize it, but if you want good halftones and accurate screens you won't come close to 2. If you want to learn more give us a call. www.parmelesupply.com

www.silkscreensupplies.com is the way to go and if your Epson does not use Claria ink it is not Dye based and will not give dark prints, I also reccomend Filmmaker over Accurip, you can print like there are out of Illustrator with crisp edges.

With all due respect, what on earth are you measuring?!?
An OD of 1.8 allows about 4% of the light through, it wouldn't work as a mask.
Even the weakest Epson ink gives an OD of 3 (stopping 99.9% of uv light).
Perhaps you should check your facts?

The best price and consistency we have found with inkjet film is here, http://www.valleylitho.com/acatalog/...kjet_Film.html their "bab's" brand is very in expensive, and very consistent. I use the 17x22 non waterproof, 96 bucks per 100 pack, can't beat that anywhere. The price is so good, I don't worry about buying water proof, if I have to rerun a film, no big deal. I was also pointed in the direction of http://www.inksupply.com/prodbyprinter.cfm?printerID=43 for refill ink for my epson 3000. Their own brand of ink is actually darker and way less expensive than oem epson. I do a lot of simulated process printing and this ink and film has worked flawless for me at a fraction of the cost of other name brands. Hope some of this helps. Ps. the ink refills, you can get 2 liters of bulk ink and a jumbo bulk refill cartridge for the cost of one oem epson cartridge and it's actually better at blocking uv and runs cleaner through the print head.
