Default Finding out total stitch count and hrs. on PR 600

I am looking into buying some used machines and was wondering if you can easily look up the total stitch count and hrs on the PR 600 and PR600 II machine. If so how do you? Thanks

Well i am not familiar with that machine, but your stitch file tells you the amount of stitches and if you divide that by the spm(stitches per min) speed of your machine...you have that amount of mins that it would take to sew out.

I have the PR600. Turn machine on, wait for the message which says carriage will move, keep hands away etc, and press OK. On the top left corner of screen press the icon that looks like a page and it will take you to a screen All the info on total stitch count and hours run is on the right. Hope this helps

You don't even have to press the icon. Once you have loaded a design file into the machine, you'll see all the information on the screen, including dimensions, stitch count and hours (depending on the sewing speed you have chosen: 600-1000 stitches/minute).

Interesting. I only get the information for that design, not the total amount of stitches and hours the machine has done in it's life. I have to touch the icon to get that. Perhaps my machine is shy lol

Or perhaps mine is too talkative lol
I've had the board replaced on my machine, but I don't think that could be a good explanation. AFAIR it has been like that from the very first day. Do they make uninhibited PRs for the Russian market lol

Oh I liked that, made my day!
Well done too on a worthy place in Euro semi final. Russia were definitely the better team. Slightly off subject there for this forum.
Back to PR600. So, your machine shows stitch count & hours for life of machine as well as for the current design? Will check mine again, but am certain it only shows for design without pressing icon. I bought my machine 2nd hand and haven't done any upgrade on it, maybe that's why, perhaps it's an additon with upgrade maybe? I'm on a PR600 forum and loads of people seems to have had problems after upgrading so I've not bothered. It works OK for me without so will probably leave it alone.
