Default Floppies of data

Hey all,

Does anybody use the Dos EXP format? I have about 500 disks with data that I can't use.

exp should be melco no? easily usable on almost all machines or transferable to tajima dst? when you say "floppies" are you thinking 8-inch media or 5 1⁄4-inch or 3 1⁄2 inch? YES VIRGINIA THERE IS A SANTA CLAUS. lol 3.5 inch should be easily converted for you, the larger, older versions would require an antique specialist but is doable. do you know or even care what are on these disks? I have thousands of stock designs and have never used any... not one.. but they keep sending the gosh darn things to me...

It's the Dakota Collectables complete 1996 catalogue. I have tried to find someone that could or software to convert. Couldn't find anything. Dakota said they would send me the updated software for $1k. Or I can buy the set again for $6k. There is about 200 3.5" floppies there. LOL Some I wish I could use. There is some nice stuff there for an aviation guy like myself.

1996? seriously? 24 years ago. Prolly not up to today's standards OR maybe they are Better as we have slacked off. Not to worry I have one from 2002 two from 2006 one from 2007 and then a Balboa from 2006 hey they kept sending to me. HOW many have I actually used? 0 nada, not one. ever. to me they are a waste. (so out of over 70,000 designs not one was ever used) boring

If you want use them. You will need an USB floppy drive. You can buy it on EBAY. And you also need a software.
You can download this software. It can read Dos EXP format and convert to dst file or others format.
