Default Greetings from Seattle

Hi. My name is Judy. I'd like to do some high quality embroidery work from home, but know nothing about the machines out there. I've been searching the internet for reviews and comparisons of machines, but everything I've found has been more along the line of advertising, so I got the idea to find a forum where I could ask the people who own them to tell me what's good or bad about them. So, please tell me, which machine gives the most bang for the buck?

welcome to the forum! How about coming up with some projects (or a test project) and going to local embroidery shops to see how they come out? If they are local then hopefully that means there is professional support in your area for those machines.... then you can judge for yourself and your needs if the shop with the Tajima , or SWF, or Brother, etc had the best quality for your application. Make sense? Spend a little money up front to test what is out there.

Honestly nearly Every machine can produce quality work provided YOU as the operator know how to tweak this and that.... SO much easier to learn how do do that if you pick a machine that is readily available in your area so you can learn from others with the same.
