I will have to check the year. It is not USB, but we have all of the software you will need included. It has been a reliable workhorse for us with zero problems.

We bought this machine a few months before we closed in the end of 2017 I believe.

According to the manual it looks like it does have USB.

Manufacture just called back and confirmed the machine was made in 2008. We bought it from the original owner around 2017. There is free software (Happy Link) that you can download to transfer files to the machine or if it isn't USB already, you can upgrade the firmware.
