Talking Happy HCD-1501, practically new, $6500, near San Francisco

Hello --

Due to financial and health issues, I am selling my Happy HCD-1501 (single-head, 15-needle machine). I believe the year of the model is 2007.

I bought it from the original owner about 2-1/2 years ago. He bought it new thinking he would add embroidery to his sign business, but just tried it a few times and then never used it. I also didn't use it as much as I thought I would. I have oiled it religiously, and recently had it inspected and adjusted. The tech said he couldn't believe what great shape the machine was in. It's really basically almost new.

Included are:
== Machine and adjustable height stand on wheels
== Cap system (never used by me; original owner may have tried to use it once)
== 2 - 120mm round hoops
== 2 - 150mm round hoops
== 2 - 320mm square hoops
== 2 - 420mm square jacket back hoops
== 1 - Durkee 300x410mm 2-way hoop (brackets can be positioned so hoop has horizontal or vertical orientation)
== 1 - Durkee 240mm square hoop (The Durkee hoops are my favorites - very sturdy)
== extra set of arms, so it's quicker to switch between larger and smaller hoops
== Extra titanium 80/12 and standard 75/11 needles
== various rolls of perforated-sheet stabilizers
== extra MagnaGlide brand bobbins
== original tools that came with the machine
== Large Fast Frames bracket (can negotiate if you want to buy the windows as well) (www.fastframes.com)

I think that's everything!

I used this machine via a USB cable attached to my computer, along with the HappyLink software. There is also a slot for CF cards. I have an adapter for the slot that lets you use SD cards (I think) but never used either.

If you are not familiar with this machine, here is a link to more info:
http://happyemb.com/infopage_hcd.htm (NOTE: my model does not have a port for a USB Flash drive. It hooks up to the computer via USB cable.)

The machine is quite heavy (about 240 pounds), so plan on a few strong folks and a truck or van to take it away. I won't be able to help you carry it. The table fits through a standard door but we did have to remove the doors from their hinges.

There is also a very active yahoo group that supports this machine. Any question I have ever had has always been answered promptly.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. I can take pictures if you like; just let me know.

Thanks for looking!
