Question Have you tried this emulsion?

Murakami Aquasol® HV (blue)

I have used many types of emulsions and this one far surpasses all of them. It does have a longer exposure time than their Photocure® TXR but I have yet to find a pinhole... the stencil's edges are more defined, and that is one rugged stencil. It washes out better (and stands much stronger force). It's chemical resistant and reclaims easy. Contact Dimensional Products and have them send you a 1qt sample to try.

Default Re: Have you tried this emulsion?

Yes! Great emulsion. Though I find the exposure time super-fast. Are you sensitizing it or leaving it alone. It works either way. Longer exposure when sensitized. Definitely a great emulsion though. Do you ever have any issues with over exposure on fine lines or half-tones?

I leave it alone.
We have a weak light table but it works none the less.
I expose it for 5 minutes to 5:30 minutes depending on the mesh.

I even tested the exposed emulsion with my pressure washer and it held up.
