Question Head Overlapping

Hello Everyone, I want to know how to embroider a large design using both heads of my tajima machine, I`ve heard of some parameter named overlapping, I was told that this parameter makes the machine able to embroider a continuous design. Can Anyone tell me how to change this parameter in the machine

Thanks

I do not know of specific parameters, but i know you can just be clever and split large designs. You need to make temporary marks and re-hoop. You just have to be clever i guess. This way is not the most efficient and productive but it does work. Maybe you can check your manual if your machine has procedure for splitting designs and so forth for very large designs. If you will be doing very large designs regularly or most of the time, let's say on banners and table cloths, you should invest in appropriate machinery to be most effecient and productive like Tajima jumbo sized series like TMLHII, TMLH-100/T00, TFGN and TMCE. Also you can ask the company you bought the machine from about this Head Overlapping thing you are trying to do.

Actually I am in the process of acquiring a new machine, but still I wanted to know about this parameter, a tajima vendor told me about the parameter, and I've tried to split designs but sometimes doesn't work, especially whith high stitch count. THX anyway

Paul, couldn't you ask that vendor how it's done? I don't have a multi head Tajima, but I do have a single head and I know what you're talking about regarding lots of features that are not so obvious. Usually, I just make a quick phone call to my dealer and they've been very helpful explaining things.

Yeah, I asked him, but he didn't know how to change it in the machine I have. The thing is that I live in Mexico, and here the vendors aren't so cualified as you may hope. That's why I enter this forum, to see if someone here could put me out of my misery. Thanks for your replies
