Help with EMC6

Very new to embroidery so I am really clueless. When I turn on my machine, the LCD shows "dnload requested", then after a few seconds or so, the machine starts to sew without me touching the machine. If I hit the stop button nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? Should I be doing something when I see "dnload requested" or is that just the machine communicating with the computer?

You might try to reconfigure the mach. by holding the alt,up and down buttons at the same time when you first start up then scroll to emc6 hit enter then scroll to the unit number you have chosen, you should not have any designs loaded at this point,but the machine shouldn't want to sew with out first keying in a design, Hope that helps you out.
