Default Help Generation GC 1201 machine

I was given a Generation Gc 1201 machine. Its a 2003 Model. Anyway I have some knowledge on these machines but not much. It did not come with a manual and i have no one in my area that deals with these machine any basic instructions would help. The main thing i need to know I guess It where are the needles suppose to rest for basic setup??? I can get it on and get a applique and all on it ,but i know my needles are off because they are not grabbing the bobbin thread at all...................thanks

Hey you I am not familiar with this model but pop of the needle plate turn the hand wheel until the needle has gone down all the way , the setting you are aiming to correct is the hook timing and there is an excellent video on youtube..look up setting the hook timing on butterfly embroidery machine..flow that and you should be fine.
