Exclamation help, I need a part

I have a Toyota 850, One of the sensors for the xy motor got damaged, so I can't initialize the machine. It looks like a plastic square edged U on a little pc board. Does anytone know where I can get one? ASAP
By the way, it is called a hall effect sensor.
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried pantograms. They are located in Tampa and sell these machines. Also look in embroideryyellowpages.com for parts.
There must be more places out there by trying a google search for toyota 850

Pantograms does not support this machine anymore.
Datastitch told me to buy the sensor at Radioshack and solder it on as they also do not support this machine. They would however, if necessary, have me send them the part, and they would rebuild it by doing the same thing. I checked with Radioshack, they do not have the part. I checked with several other electronics parts stores, including one thatcaters to the Devry University ( and they have everything), I was told this part is no longer manufactured.
I tried looking it up online. No luck there either. Thanks for the help. I will keep looking.

Two electronics places you might check if you haven't already: Mouser http://www.mouser.com/ and Digi-Key http://www.digikey.com/

It is the x limit sensor. When the machine first starts up and initializes, it tells the machine to only go so far to the left. with it not working, it goes all the way and sets off the sewing motor lock alarm. I tried disconnecting it, but got the same thing. If I had never turned it off for the weekend, I could have kept running.

If you could find out the specs on the sensors, I'd bet you could find one comparable that would work. You might contact some of the places that refurbish Toyota's like FCS http://www.fcslabs.com/ and see if they might have one. If I can't figure out the needle change error on mine.....I might have one soon!!

I ended up buying a sensor from datastitch to resolder myself. It is coming from a Toyota 860. They charged me $50.00 for just the little sensor. At a electronics parts store, if I could find one, it would cost about $7.00. But I have already had to turn away six orders in two days. One was a continuous order for logos on Jiu Jitsu gis.I've been down a week and already lost $1000.00 in business.

Thanks to all who gave me advice and help. I appreciate it. Thank you again

p.s. if anyone comes up with another idea, please post it for future reference.
