HELP WITH TURNING EMBROIDERY DESIGN INTO A VECTOR

Can anyone help i have basic digitizing software
i have been asked to turn a digitized design into a vector
i have no idea how to do this

if you send me the dst file and a pic of the design so i can set colors, i can do it with a click of a button using wilcom...

i don't mind helping...i figure someday i'll need help with something too. like when Alzheimers kicks in and i can't remember what a satin stitch is.
