Default Horrible RIP Software & Customer Support

Hello Everyone. I typically don't post negative reviews, but my company has been working with Wasatch Software out of Utah since 2014 with their Software RIP for our Direct to Screen output device.

The problem is we keep getting a 1/4" area that fails to print within documents longer than 17.5". Allowing for a 4" backset, that's 12.5" into a front or back center screen, not acceptable.

After spending $600 to renew my "technical support contract", multiple emails and communications - it has been determined by us there is a defined software glitch within their RIP software. It has also been determined by Wasatch they cannot provide us an answer to the problems, even though they tested the issue in their lab. They also refuse to offer any type of refund for the pre-paid technical support.

To confirm the print issue is software related - we ran several tests. We can print directly through an older XP supported RIP, direct through Windows 10, Direct from Illustrator and Direct through our new software RIP: FilmMaker v10 by Cadlink Software.

We paid $799 for the new software - it works great, right out of the box. I'm sorry I wasted so much time, labor and material with Wasatch to resolve the matter. It is very frustrating.

Thanks for allowing me to communicate our issue. Please send future customers to a supplier that wants to work with their customers. If anyone has any questions - feel free to reach out. STAY AWAY from Wasatch Software!
