Question How good are dtp's?

Hi,
Are DTP's cost effective. I know nothing of them. Is the old way of screenprinting going in this direction or is the cost to produce or the speed of production inhibitive with DTP's still.

Im not sure if you are talking DTG or there is something new out there that are DTP's haven't heard of them. If it is the DTG you are talking about then I would say yes the DTG is a great way to go. The prints are vibrant, long lasting, and you can print on lights and darks (darks with a pretreatment) There are a few out there for sale which can save you a good chunk of cash, from buying new. Good luck in your hunt. Karen

I read your reply to identity and think they want to know the actual cost per print. Have you personally worked out the cost for printing lets say a letter size print 60% coverage onto a white and dark garment and which DTG model did you use. This will be interesting information. Thanks
