How long do they last?

I'm looking at buying a used brother pr series machine and I'm wondering how long they last. They are very difficult to find used but I am seeing a couple on here and I found 1 online that I like.
I'm used to the brother I have the pe770 right now but need an upgrade that doesn't have that base!!! I could switch if anyone has other recommendations that take flash drives have at least 8x12 hoop can do caps and are easy to use. My business is very small but with the tiny machine I don't feel like I can do more I need a machine that's easier to work with, especially doing kids shirts I hate trying to pull the back of the shirt up so it doesn't get seen together and onesies are nearly impossible! Anyways any suggestions and opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Are you hooping where you have the are going thru the neck hole? If so, just reverse the design and feed it from the bottom. Even onesies are easy that way.
